About the Assignment

You will join a team responsible for lower base engine and cooling system components in an international automotive R&D environment. The role focuses on new propulsion drivelines and combines hands-on design work, technical coordination and close collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.

Job Description

• Develop cylinder blocks, crankshafts, connecting rods, bearings, sealing components and cooling system parts such as pumps, brackets, hoses, pipes, valves and coolers.
• Drive technical work related to new propulsion drivelines.
• Lead, summarize and present technical solutions to project teams and line organizations.
• Take responsibility for components developed both by suppliers and in-house teams.
• Create and position component designs in both 3D and 2D.
• Plan and follow up project activities.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of CATIA V5 for 3D and 2D design.
• Experience handling part numbers and change orders.
• Familiarity with design reviews and FMEA.
• Fluent communication skills in both Swedish and English.
• Structured, communicative and team-oriented way of working.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Experience from the automotive industry.
