DevOps Engineer (Azure / Infrastructure as Code)

Assignment Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD practices. The consultant will play a key role in enhancing and managing the existing IaC framework while ensuring alignment between deployment pipelines and evolving infrastructure components such as networks and landing zones.

The role also involves contributing to ongoing and upcoming initiatives, including modernization and migration from legacy Azure environments to structured landing zone architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, enhance, and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Bicep and Azure CLI
• Align and optimize deployment workflows in response to changes in network configurations, security policies, and landing zone structures
• Support and actively contribute to Azure-based projects, including leading migration efforts toward modern infrastructure environments
• Ensure reliability, efficiency, and quality across CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement DevOps best practices and improve delivery standards

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure platform
• At least 5 years of experience working in a DevOps Engineer role
• Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with a minimum of 5 years
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Bicep and/or Azure CLI
• At least 3 years of experience working with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions)
• Proven experience in managing automated deployments within complex environments (minimum 3 years)
• Strong communication skills in Swedish language

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills:

• Experience working with Azure Landing Zones (minimum 3 years preferred)

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)

Additional Details:

• Work Arrangement: Hybrid – expected onsite presence 2–3 days per week as agreed with the client
