Senior Backend Developer to Vertiseit

We're now looking for a talented backend developer to join our team working at the heart of our technology - building and evolving the core platform that powers our business brands: Grassfish, Dise, and Visual Art.

You’ll join a strong cross-functional development team focused on developing our shared platform. It’s the backbone of our group’s software solutions (IXM Platforms), enabling modularity, speed, and innovation across brands - through microservices, API-first architecture, and cloud-native capabilities. We work with cutting-edge technologies and enjoy technology discussions and pair programming.

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and optimize high-quality software solutions

• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our software

• Stay updated with industry trends and continuously improve our technology stack

• Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing within the team

Technologies you’ll get to work with

• C#

• .NET 10

• MS SQL Server and Entity Framework Core 10

• Communication protocols with REST API, SignalR and gRPC

• Unit testing using xUnit

• SaaS solution based on a microservices architecture on Azure Container Apps

• Azure services such as Azure Container Apps, Container Registry, Storage Account, SQL Server, Application Insights, Key Vault, App Configuration, Azure Functions etc.

• Infrastructure as Code via Terraform

• CI/CD pipeline with GitHub Actions

We are looking for a passionate and experienced developer with a strong problem-solving mindset, a drive for innovation and a deep technical understanding. You possess a great deal of curiosity and like to learn and teach others. You are happy to work both individually and together with others. We would like to see that you have worked with the entire chain of a product life cycle.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

• Several years hands-on experience as a software developer

• In-depth knowledge of building backend solutions with Microsoft technology stack

• Strong proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks, such as C# and .NET

• Great experience in delivering well-tested, maintainable and functioning code

• Experience working with Cloud development, particularly Microsoft Azure Container Apps

• Solid knowledge of databases, APIs and system integrations

• A proactive and team-oriented mindset – you take ownership and drive development forward

• Strong communication skills in English

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines

• Strong communication skills in Swedish

• A good understanding of SQL, specifically T-SQL
